I’ve done pretty well in all my classes in sophomore year , 95’s and above in Honors Chemistry, AP World History, Pre-Calculus, and French 2 Honors. My school allows us to skip French 3 and do it over the summer if you have a high enough grade in French 2 (I had 100’s both semesters). I took AP English Lang my sophomore year (don’t know my score yet) but my school registers us for AP English Lang for juniors with has a little focus in American Literature. I plan on doing pre-med in college if that helps.
Schedule:
AP Physics 1
French 4 Honors
AP US History
AP English Language (AM/Lit)
AP Calculus BC
AP Chemistry
^Depending on your school, BC, Chem, and Physics can be a killer combination. That’s how it is at my school (I’m taking them together next year and I have had around twenty juniors tell me I’m screwed). But then again, it really depends on your school (mine is famed for difficult AP courses; there are two flavors: really really easy (Stats, Psych, Human Geo), and impossibly hard (everything else)).
But then, considering your previous grades, it shouldn’t be a problem.
Yes I agree with @topaz1116. Calc BC, Physics, and Chem can be a lot together. However, I also agree that your previous grades show that you are a very strong student. You have all of your core subjects covered. I’d give the schedule a 10 out of 10!
This is a tough curriculum. AP US history is a lot of reading and physics is tough. This looks like a seniors course load
Honestly there is no answer on weather it is too hard or just right. Some kids could probably handle it easily, while others will flunk out. It just depends on you.
My friend did the same schedule except with AP Physics C and AP Spanish instead of Phy1 and French and he got all A’s, so I’m sure you’ll be fine if you’re gettings 100s.
