Is my schedule too rigorous?

I am going to be a junior in high school next year, and I’m planning on taking 3 AP and 2 honors classes with 1 regular class. Here’s a look at my schedule:

-AP Biology
-AP US history
-AP Composition and Language
-Honors Precalc
-Honors Spanish 3 Accelerated
-Choir

It seemed like a good idea at first but I feel like I may have made a bad decision to take all of these difficult classes in the same year. On top of this, I’m also in marching band (colorguard) which will take up a good portion of my after-school time in the fall. How hard are these AP classes? I know the workload is pretty heavy but how screwed am I in general? I’m a pretty good student and my GPA usually ranges from a 3.8 - 4.1 weighted. If anyone has taken these classes, how much homework did you receive on average for one AP class? I have never taken an AP class before and I don’t really know what I’ve gotten myself into.

Every school is different but most people say APUSH is pretty tough, lot of memorizing. AP Bio is okay, memorizing as well, but the AP test is the worst part. Precalc is easy, but that might just be me because I’m a math nerd. No experience with the rest. Best of luck!

As stated above, every school is different. For AP classes, we average about 45 minutes of HW per night. Your schedule looks OK to me, but you know your abilities the best.

I think your schedule will be difficult but still manageable. It’ll probably be a bit more work than you’re used to, but if you make an effort to get everything done and make these classes and doing well in them a priority, I think you’ll be fine. Good luck!
