Is Ohio State University (Main Campus in Columbus) a good place to go for a teaching degree?

I want to be a high school social studies teacher. I’m currently in Kent and about to be a sophomore this fall. My first semester (fall) I slacked off in and received a 2.3 GPA average. However, this semester I currently a 4.0. I’m thinking about applying for Ohio State sometimes in the fall, but I’m wondering if it has a highly reputable teaching program. Can anyone help me with this?

OSU would be fine. I think OU is actually better known as an education college.

Or Bowling Green. They have a College of Education and Human Development.

It looks like they have a major that might fit what you are looking for perfectly.
