<p>I'm trying to explore how to pay my tuition and I come across peerTransfer, which allows me to pay in my home currency. Basically, the organization will convert my money to US dollars and transfer them to my college. It's said to be convenient and low-cost compared to paying through credit cards or wiring money. But I'm still not so sure. Has anyone used this service? Can someone share some insight? What are the advantages and disadvantages of peerTransfer? I don't think it's a non-profit organization so how does it make money if it guarantees international students the best exchange rates??</p>

<p>I would go with your official, regular bank, too.
