Hey, I am a sophomore and I'm trying to figure out if Pepperdine is the right school for me. I live in the East Coast and I'm Indian. Even though I'm not really religious, will I fit in at Pepperdine since I heard it's really religious. Also, is it actually made up of only rich, white kids? Will I not fit in at all at the school? Thanks!

My daughter a sophomore and Pepperdine is her first choice and has been for years. We live in California. My son is just admitted and we’re deciding. Three religion courses are required (but can be ethics or Buddhism, whatever). Our son is medium religious. From what I hear from visiting three times, the school is concerned with good people, honorable people, people who are with good values and kind–that’s what they mean (these days) about religion. My kids are white, but they are not rich. Based on the huge Indian population we have in California, there will be many rich Indian and other Asian kids there and many not so rich “white” kids.

hi,

I’m currently looking into going to pepperdine myself and I think that you would like it. I’m an international student and I have received lots of information from them. They are really helpful. Plus, the campus is amazing, sports are great and people are really nice and friendly. I think you should look into it more. good luck
