I seem to remember the USNA website saying something about a high school physics course being required for admittance....so basically, is that true or is my memory faulty?

Even if it isn't it would be a good idea to take it to make yourself more competitive and prepare for USNA courses.

I didn't ever take physics and I was fine; however, it is one of my regrets that I never did.

You do not need to take physics in h.s. However, if you can, I strongly advise it b/c it will only make your life easier when you take it at USNA. If your high school doesn't offer physics, you might consider taking it at a local community college.

I had physics in Junior year, and I've forgotten almost everything I learned. Or rather, all of the formulas have been pushed out and replaced with advanced chemistry ones. Hah.

But I also think it's a good idea to take it. Then the first semester will at least be review instead of grasping foreign concepts.

Check the most current catalog. Physics with lab is on the list of recommended courses.
