Is portal same thing as Net id?

I know this is a dumb question but I have an anxious teenager and just trying to find out some info… is portal same thing as net I’d??

You need to have NetID and password to log into the portal.
Once you have registered your password, go to studentadmin.uconn.edu.

Use NetID and password to login. Click Self-service, then Student Center…page you arrive at should give you access to Admissions Status, etc.

Ok thanks… that’s what we were doing but nothing had been updated so just wanted to make sure we were doing it correctly. Thank you again @WhataProcess

@ccc1013 It can get frustrating when others are getting decisions and you’re not!
They don’t all get posted at once - Arts students were getting decisions last week, and then engineering and sciences yesterday (but probably not all of them…). Most everyone should see a decision by March 1 I think. good luck to your C.
