Is practicing over Sparknotes enough to ace the SAT II Mat IIC test??

title is the question

It depends on the math coursework you've done so far. The most advanced (in most courses) thing in the math IIC is limits, and those are always the same type (factor numerator and denominator, cancel common factor, plug in). If you've taken precalc and done well, you should be fine. This test really isn't that hard. However, if you want to assure you get a good score, you should get a book of practice tests (look on Amazon) and do them. After doing the practice tests, if you find you have a weak point, Sparknotes should take care of that.

I don't think sparknotes is your best option for test practice.

yeah, but as far as bio and other subjects are concerned--eh, not really.

sparknotes is very good for review but its tests are often segregated to what is taught in the book. Use something else like kaplan for practice tests. You can also use barrons if you want really really hard practice tests. For bio, i'm using sparknotes for review and kaplan for tests.

Hey, icy (sounds kinky), are you taking the SAT II bio anytime soon?

just making sure, the sparknotes book and sparknotes.com for math2c and biology are the same as the book right? not a shortened version?

Just wondering... how much more difficult is Barron's compared to the real test?

i'm taking sat 2 in bio and chem in may. The sparknotes book and sparknotes.com are the same thing except sparknotes.com does not come with practice questions or tests. You have to pay for the tests on sparknotes.com. And barrons is a lot more harder than the real tests. I've heard of people who scored 600 on a barrons tests and than easily got an 800 on the real test.

Yeah, in respect to science, I'm taking a Bio SAT II. I mean, I'm reading a cliffs AP book--is that sufficient studying? Should i read the sparknotes "e-book?" What are you using? Thanks for your response.

Barrons is much harder. Some will not finish half the test in the time and on the real one get 800.

The sparknotes online practice test scoring thingy is messed up. I put right answers for like 10 questions and it still marked them wrong.

Barron's WAY overprepares you, but it's a good review :)

I did fairly well on my Barron's practice test, and acing Math II felt easy by comparsion :D

Does anyone know if REA is extra hard or not?
