Is pre-calculus weighted for colleges?

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but if at my school pre-calculus is weighted along with French honors and I take all other AP classes and suppose hypothetically I get an A in all of them, does that mean I have a 5.0 GPA?

If so, doesn't that mean it would be worse to take pre-calculus over summer and then go into AP calc next year (junior year) since with a busy schedule, it'll be easier to get an A (and a higher GPA) in pre-calc than AP Calc?

OR do colleges look at pre-calc and think "Wow what a scam... Pre-calc is not weighted. This girl does NOT have a 5.0"? I was talking to my math teacher about it and she said colleges don't consider pre-calc weighted and thus don't count the 5.0. Thank you so much!

Your GPA is not that important, especially if you’re getting As, weighted or not. I would forget about the whole thing and do what you feel would benefit you most educationally–pre-calc is a joke, so if you can manage taking it over the summer, go ahead.
