Is Princeton 11 SAT tests a lot different from REAL SAT?

I saved last two tests on Bluebook for the last practice tests before the real one on October.
So right now, I am studying with Princeton Review 11 SAT tests, and I completed up to test 6. But my score went down to misery rather than went up. I am worrying about my score now. Any good advice or recommendation for good books?

If you ask CC you’ll get this answer:

Omg. Nooooo. Only use cb!! Did you even look at the sticky? You’re such a n00b

edit: oh darn. fairy dreams beat me to it.

hey, i got the same question too.

in my case for example, where i come from (paraguay) there isnt any place where you can get the sat books from or maybe someone who can tutor you for the test. pretty much no one even know what the sat is. our only one source is the us embassy, and they only have princeton review books (including subject test) and also a little book called “hack the sat”
so, are the practice test on the princeton review books way different from the real test?

yeah you’re completely screwed! Seriously, if you can’t get CB tests, then use what you have… but they’re not an accurate representation of the SAT and they have errors in them.

You obviously have access to the internet… buy the OC.

OMG, I have the same problem. I finished the Official SAT study guide from collegeboard, and now I’m using Princeton Review, the same book that you used, and my score went down too!!! I was so depressed cuz I thought I was like ■■■■■■■■ or something… after 6weeks of studying and seeing your scores go down really made me think I’m not doing the studying right…
So I guess, I should not trust Princeton Review??? Where can you get more questions from collegeboard? The website?? don’t they only have one book for prep??

PR is harder !!!

I don’t know… alot of people told me that PR is easier than the real test…even though I think it is harder

Concepts: Buy the Grammatix online. Or, go to Google Books and read the pages that are available.

Tests: The OC has 10 tests. And there are 3 official released tests. 13 for a grand total online. Get rid of PR and use these “lucky” 13 (but don’t exhaust them too quickly).

You should be resourceful like this. You have many places to gather info even if you don’t live in the US.
