Is psychology an impacted major?

<p>I want to switch to psychology and I was wondering if it was an impacted major.</p>

<p>Preparatory Requirements. Before declaring a major in psychology, students must complete the following courses with a combined grade point average of at least 2.500. All courses must be taken for a letter grade. (Students in the Bachelor of Science, Biology program must complete Biological Sciences 1A.): </p>

<p>Psychology 1, 41
8 units
Statistics 13 or 102
4 units
Biological Sciences 1A
or
Biological Sciences 10 and one course from Anthropology 1, Molecular and Cellular Biology 10, Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior 10
5 or 8 units
Sociology or cultural anthropology
4 units</p>
