<p>Yes, for some but not all majors. If you are interested in a particular major you can go to the college website and look up the check sheet of required courses for graduation. Personally, I think everyone should try to fit in a Public Speaking course unless your HS has already incorporated public speaking in various classes.</p>
<p>Depends on major. If you want to take the class it would probably count as an elective.</p>
<p>I’m thinking of majoring in graphic design, and it’s not listed in the required courses. I was just wondering if it was a general requirement.</p>
<p>My son recently graduated from VT. He was not required to take a public speaking class.</p>
