I took sat 2 biology last year, and got a 590. I retook it january and got a 670. Now i want to retake it may but does a third retake seem bad to colleges, like in your resume or something. Would they put amount of retakes into account or just your ultimate score? Side note: im a sophmore.

670 is a great score. I do not see the need to take it again

Check if the schools you want to go to require that you submit all test scores first. But honestly, if you’re not satisfied with your score, you might want to try a different subject, or waiting a bit longer to take it again (because how much will you improve in a few months after you’ve already improved 80 points?).

Well my intrest point is medical so having a biology score of over 750 would be better. That is why im retaking it. As for other subj test, i’ll be taking us history alongside bio. And math 2 and physics next year. I think 4 is sufficient, with an high sat 1 score for say, Duke?

A lot of schools allow you to choose what SAT subject scores you send.

Redo man… and send the best one.

its up to you if you want to spend money for the subject tests. If you have the money then it is ultimately your decision

To “Thedumbbutt”: You are clearly very smart with a 670 score on the biology subject test, but if you think you can improve that score, take it again, especially since medicine is your area of interest. You will be able to only send your highest score on this test with your application. Colleges won’t know how many times you took the test. Best of luck and congratulations on already achieving an excellent score.
