I have heard from people that I know that Rice is very liberal (i'm conservative). However these people didn't attend Rice so I wanted someone's opinion who actually went there. Do people tend to be accepting of different views?

Almost all non-religious [private] universities are “accepting of different views.”

^HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAH.

(Sorry, I laughed when I thought about Brown University being “accepting of different views.”)

No, I wouldn’t characterize Rice as very liberal. Rice is fairly apathetic in terms of political activity; however, amongst those that do care, i feel like it’s about 60/40 leaning liberal (which is pretty moderate for a university).
