Is SAT subject test required for most colleges?

Not ivy schools, but top schools like Notre dame (my dream) or others.
I took math level 2 already and got a 800, but the coming test in 15 days is making me panic–I was planning on taking Chem because I have a 97% in this class at school, but I haven’t studied for the material of SAT II yet.

I’m just wondering if taking only one subject test will hurt my chances. I’m taking both SAT and ACT, if you’re wondering.

Any input appreciated!! Thanks guys!!

Here is a list of the schools that require or recommend SAT 2 subject tests. http://www.■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■/subject-test-requirements-and-recommendations/ It is prepared by a test prep company in California so I would still check the websites of any schools you are interested in. It’ is pretty easy to find out. Here is the link to the Notre Dame page. http://admissions.nd.edu/apply/evaluation-criteria/ They say “SAT Subject Tests, AP tests, and IB tests are only used in the application process if scores enhance an application. They may also be used for credit and placement in the First Year of Studies.”
