Is Stanford undergrad good ?

Anyone know what Stanford undergrads do after graduation ?
I heard that careers of Stanford undergraduates are limited in technology and Silicon Valley area.

However, even in tech area, Stanford undergrads are doing much worse than Ivy League graduates.
See the list below.

Billionaires ranking in Tech-Startup area (undergrad)

  1. Bill Gates (Harvard)
  2. Jeff Bezos (Princeton)
  3. Mark Zukerberg (Harvard)
  4. Larry Ellison (Chicago)
  5. Larry Page ( Michigan)
  6. Sergey Brinn (Maryland)
  7. Steve Ballmer (Harvard)
  8. Michael Dell
  9. Paul Allen
    Dustin Moskovitz(Harvard)
    Eric Schmidt(Princeton)

Why Stanford undergrads are not that successful in tech industry even if it is located in Silicon Valley ?

Here you go…as an example…

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PayPal_Mafia

“PayPal Mafia” is a term used to indicate a group of former PayPal employees and founders who have since founded and developed additional technology companies such as Tesla Motors, LinkedIn, Palantir Technologies, SpaceX, YouTube, Yelp, and Yammer. Most of the members attended Stanford University or University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign at some point in their studies. Six members, Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, Reid Hoffman, Luke Nosek, Ken Howery, and Keith Rabois, have become billionaires.

REMINDER: You don’t have to be a billionaire to be considered successful.

Elon Musk is not Stanford graduate. Please stop fake news.

So why such a driving interest in this, OP? What’s it matter to you? Why protest so much? Other posters on your other threads claiming this same thing (or variants) disagreed with you, you don’t agree with them. K? What’s your dog in this race?

Looking at where the 10 wealthiest billionaires in the world attended for undergrad is a poor way to choose a college. All of the under 30 billionaires in the world attended Stanford for undergrad and developed their app while students, but the sample size is too small to be meaningful, like with your list. An article discussing why Stanford produces a large number of tech billionaires with examples is at http://www.independent.co.uk/student/news/the-billionaire-factory-why-stanford-university-produces-so-many-celebrated-web-entrepreneurs-8706573.html .

I don’t think OP is choosing a college. If he is, this insistent hyper focus is not the sort of skills HYPSM are looking for or the level of thinking it takes to get far. This Stanford argument is obsessive.
