So I got 2350 in my Dec SAT, and almost 150 points less when I took it for the first time some months ago... but, in this first administration, I scored 10 points higher on one section, and so my superscore would be 2360. Is it really worth sending both scores for Colleges that claim to superscore? Or would this ~2200 score somehow denigrate this last one?
Thoughts would be very much appreciated. Thanx!

It wouldn’t. Colleges know that a student with a 2300 would score 2400 on a good day, and 2200 on a bad day. Send both scores.

I would just send in the 2350, since colleges pretty much weigh anything above 2300 as a perfect score anyways.

Thank you very much, SirWanksalot and drac313 !
So, anyone else to break the tie?

I would not. 2360 has no difference with 2350. And a single sitting is a stronger prove than combined.
it sorely my suggestion, curious about how to those who get 2300+ manage to do it. I merely get 2100+.

2350 single sitting seems more impressive to me - I agree with drac313. But it’s not like college would think it’s a fluke if you scored 2200+ on your first.

I definitely think the Harvard would not accept you because you got a 2350 instead of a 2360. Because you know, a ten point difference really means a lot if you get higher than a 2250+

Just kiddin. GREAT JOB!

Sorry for bumping this old thread haha. I’m pretty much in the same situation as the OP (but 2300 vs 2310) and was wondering about more people’s opinions on the matter.
