Is taking 3 college classes (10 credits) during summer too much to handle

I'm currently a high school senior and i've decided that I'm going to a four-year university as biological science major(pre-med) in the fall. I want to take English, stats and psychology during summer at a CC and I feel like it would be too much to handle. English is definitely a class i want to get over with... If i plan to take two classes instead I don't know if i should drop stats or psychology please help?

It’s going to be a long day. Just looking at our local CC’s summer schedule, all three classes are M thru Thurs. Eng. would be 8-10:30, Stats 10:40-1, and Psyc 1:10-3:15. The classes move fast. Some kids would be comfortable with that type schedule, others wouldn’t. Depends upon your organization and motivation and interest in doing anything else during summer. I wouldn’t recommend three classes with that type schedule for my kids, but two classes would work out fine.

Will taking classes at a cc cause your 4-year school to reclassify you as a transfer? Be careful not to jeopardize any freshman grants you may have been awarded there.
