i need some advice...i plan to transfer next fall 2006...also want to finish up my prerequisiite courses over this spring and summer semesters...is it better to take 1 more additional class this spring or put it off til lthe summer and take 2 classes instead of 1 for summer school...i know summer courses are more fast paced, but never taken 2 summer classes at the same time..what do u guys think?

depends on the class and what u're takin in the spring... i took engl1 and pol scie in the summer after hs and it was a lot easier taking calc ii in the summer after my first year as a college student... it all depends on the class.

just make sure your IGETC is done by spring, and in regards to taking 1 or 2 classes in the summer.... i did that last summer and it wasnt to bad, also UC's would prefer to see them finished earlier so that they dont have to base their decision off of weather or not they think you will complete those classes.

take some classes in the summer. i took comp1 and microecon in summer session 1 and comp2 and us govt in summer session 2. the classes are easier in the summer.

classes are at easy at a CC - i took 22 credits last summer.

how did u take so many credits over the summer? since its 6-7 week courses, they meet everyday for 3hrs a day

i think i took 2 or 3 during the 1st six week term, 2 the 2nd second six week term, and the rest online.

lol. i am not even gona ask.

22 credits in the summer? That is INSANE! The max amount of credits I've taken during a summer session was 12.

i will probably do something like that next summer (not summer of 06). i took 12 last summer as dual credit in high school to graduate a year early, 12 in the fall, and i am taking 15 this semester. i am trying to complete my undergrad in 3 years or by the time i turn 20 and get my masters by the time i am 21.

tracemhunter, that is a good plan you have there. Keep doing big things.
