So it's the summer, and the grand time to prepare for standardized testing, like the SAT, ACT, PSAT, etc. I'm taking the PSAT this year, and I have enough practice tests (24+) and am wondering whether it would be beneficial to just take a practice test everyday. It takes about 2 and a half hours for each test. Is it a waste of time and energy, or is it helpful and can it raise one's score?

Also, has anyone actually done this? If you have, can you give me tips or anything?

It is also VERY important to go over questions you got wrong and figure out why you were wrong. Afterwards, go through the CR and look up ALL the words you didn’t knoe or even were unsure of.

In case of CR, of would maybe recommend grabbing a book with the words that frequently appear on the test, and studying it a bit. If you just copy the words you do not know when going through the test, you might actually miss some of them. ;)

if you are missing more than a handful of questions in each section, id suggest learning the fundamental math skills, vocab, and grammar from SAT books. good luck and make sure you look up your state’s historical national merit cutoff!

There are plenty of books out there with practice material (buy them or loan them from the library). Also search online, there are a lot of free resources out there too.

I’m wondering the same thing, I was thinking about taking about 5 or 6 exams before I retake the ACT in September and/or October, but will it be effective in only 1 to 2 months?
