Is taking these 3 AP classes during my Junior Year too much?

I will be taking AP US History, AP English, and AP Biology. My other classes will be Regular Chemistry, Trigonometry Honors, and a Website class which is very, very easy.

I also plan on taking 3 sports the entire year, envolved with student council, leo and key club, and NHS.

Is this schedule a bit too much?

P.S. I want to get into the Air Force Academy.

For going to the AF academy, not at all. It will be a bit of hard work, but I don’t think it’ll be overwhelming, depending on your teachers. From experience, AP US and AP English are both fairly easy for someone who is good in humanities.

I don’t think so. If you’re able to stay on top of things and are organized (or you are somewhat organized), you should be totally fine.
If you’ve never ever taken an AP class before, though, it might be a stretch.
However, I’m taking 4 this year and I’m doing fine so far. You should be alright.
Good luck!

Ditto on the previous posters. It will be okay if you had AP classes before. It also depends if your school’s AP classes are easy or not… it depends on the teacher. When I was a freshman, I took 1 and at first it was overwhelming but by the end I managed well. Then as a sophomore I took 3, having already had an AP class before, I knew what to expect… now I am taking 6 (im a junior) but AP physics C is killer for me… the other classes are easier to get As in however just because a class is easy doesn’t mean you will pass the exam.

I am also in a variety of clubs. If you balance your time and not procrastinate, it shouldn’t be a problem.

You should be fine. One of my friends has almost the exact same schedule as you did, class-wise and EC-wise. She had a 4.0 that year.

I did not take any AP classes before but for my freshmen and sophomore year I have taken 4 honors classes.

Thank you for the advice everyone!

Beware, it will be a fair amount of work. Both AP Bio and APUSH have tremendous amount of stupid work involved. AP Lang can have a lot of work too depending on your teacher. But you should be able to take those.

I did mean to say I have taken 4 Honors classes my Freshmen and Sophomore year. My school does not allow us to take AP classes until Junior year.

So I am hearing that AP Lang is pretty easy? I also have a passion for US History lol. cough a reason why I want to go to AF Academy and serve my country. So, it seems AP Biology might be a tough one since science is boring to me.

AP Lang I am taking right now and my teacher is KILLER. He’s like a boot camp sergeant or something. He terrifies me. But in any case, the class itself is not all that bad. So far, I’ve done fine. Got an A first semester. Gotta try to keep that going.
APUSH I took last year. Now THAT was a challenging class. I urge you, if you take it, to follow the reading with your class. I put it off until the last month and ended up studying 24/7 for the last month. I still got a 4 on the exam, but it was rough.
