I saw recently that only in your sophomore year join the business major, however it isn´t certificated with something I don´t remember as the business programs in Upenn and Cornell.
And when people here at cc talk about business majors they never refer to columbia. It is said that the only ones with business are Upenn and Cornell,.
Can someone help figure this out?

feedback please

Columbia only has a business concentration that you apply for in your sophomore year, I believe. It’s only open to CC majors, but I believe that it’s a way to take business school classes, which I’ve heard are great.

You’re not actually earning a business degree, rather, you get a BA in your respective major and have a concentration in business to boot. It’s a great way to take business school classes without the usual restrictions and red tape surrounding cross-enrollment.
