Is that possible to graduate within 1 year after transfering to UC Berkeley?

QUESTION 1
Let's say I have completed 70 uc-transferable semester units from CCC and get in Applied Math OR Econ, Berkeley.

So, I need to complete approximately only 55 semester units there, right?

If I take classes like Summer 2010, and continue to take classes as the maximum UC allowed. I will most likely to complete by Summer 2011, right?

Is that possible?

QUESTION 2
If I want to do double major in Applied Maths and Econ, Do I have to spend extra semesters to complete? I means if I want to do that, I have to extend my graduation for like 1-2 semesters?

QUESTION 3
Does it has any minimum credit units require to graduate with 'Honors' at Berkeley/UCLA?

QUESTION 4
Do UCs have only 'Highest/High/Honor'? Do they have like 'Sum - Latin honor'?

Your prompt advice is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

1-
It's possible but unlikely. Unless you're a genius (and I mean that literally) then you'd be setting yourself up for failure. UCB upper-division workload >>>>> CC lower-division workload. That should be obvious. That said, the fact is that the average graduation time for entering transfers is 2.9 years. Go figure.

2-
If you plan on storming through your work in a year, then shouldn't it be obvious that you extend your graduation time?

3-
Do a search on the website.

4-
summa cum laude = highest honors
magna cum laude = high honors
cum laude = honors...

it will most likely appear this way on your diploma/transcript.

Question 1: it is possible if you obtain an exemption from the four semester residence requirement.

Question 2: you do not need to spend extra semesters to double-major, as long as you can complete requirements for both majors in four semesters.

Question 3: College Policies-Honors

Question 4: See Q3.

Also, if you keep writing "does it has", you may end up not getting in Cal.

You can graduate in a year. You might not have a very stellar GPA or a social life whatsoever. But you can.

You don't have to take extra semesters to double major, but you can if you need to. But seeing that you want to graduate in a year, you probably don't want to do that.

IMO, take your time. If you get in, you might as well settle down and make use of the opportunities you have in Berkeley over two years.
