<p>Someone from Penn called and want to meet my D this Sunday regarding to her application to Penn. Is that an interview? I believe the school has already made decision and is preparing fin aid for the accepted applicants.</p>
<p>I mean, there’s 11 days left until decisions come out… if it’s regarding her application, maybe there’s something really important they need to clear up or there’s a glaring discrepancy they need to implore. I really don’t know, it’s pretty weird they’d schedule so close to the date.</p>
<p>The caller is either a student or an alumnus who left a local phone number to reach him. He may meet more than one applicant since he has provided several available time period for the meeting at a local cafe house.</p>
<p>It’s totally possible. I was interviewed about a week before ED decision release. I also remember a few people on CC who was interviewed 2 to 3 days ahead of the decision time…</p>
<p>i would be willing to bet that it means they are right on the line or there is something that needs to be cleared up before they make a definitive decision. either way, the applicant is still in it at this point if they are asking them to meet up for an interview/meeting so that much can’t be bad at all</p>
