<p>Is Jan 24th fine to meet the Feb. 1 deadline? (for fafsa and css)</p>

<p>Also, as long as you apply before the deadline, does it matter when? Could I have gotten more money if I applied Jan 1?</p>

And, no…filing earlier than the 24th is of no financial benefit.</p>
