Do they really see a 35 and see a 2340? Do they see a 30 and see a 1980 etc?

Do they respect the ACT?

What sections do they care the most on?

for some reason, i find myself asking the same question...

if the ACT has a reputation of being easier than the SAT, how can they be viewed and respected equally?

Me too.
Personally, I would respect a 2340 MUCH more than a 35. I worked my ass off to get my SAT score(2300), whereas I took the ACT without any practice and still got a decent score. (33)

Because reputations are not always accurate. Some people find the ACT much easier because it is more relevant to school work. The SAT's on the other hand have a specific style. They use tricks, etc.

I have friends who scored 34+ on the ACTs by just walking in. I have friends who scored 2200+ on the SAT's just walking in.

To be honest, I think if a person has a 2340 and another person has a 35, the 2340 is the "winner." But i think the ACT's are really starting to gain respect in the college-world.
