SOMEONE WHO TOOK THE NEW SAT AND USED THIS BOOK PLEASE RESPOND. So I’ve been using this book, but im a bit unsatisfied with my scores. Is the book helpful? Is it harder? Is it similar? 
Practice tests from third party companies cannot accurately predict scores, because they are only ‘practice’. And yes, Barrons tends to be a lot tougher, which can be bad for the SAT. For example, on an official CB test, I missed 3 on reading, and on the Barrons I missed 10 on reading. I didn’t pine over it or analyze the Barrons test because I knew that this company’s practice tests are harder in every subject.
They are hard in an unrealistic way. Wouldn’t recommend
Here’s an analogy:
Let’s say you want to learn Spanish for a Spanish Language test. So you buy the Barron’s Latin Language book.
Then you ask, is the Barron’s Latin Language book harder than the actual Spanish test?
