Is the Cornell Meinig National Scholarship only for ILR students or can any Cornell s

tudent be eligible for it during the time of admission. I am just curious and thanks for the responses.

Meinigs are chosen predominantly from the incoming freshman class and the slection doesn’ really have public guidelines. Its for any student in any college.

Hey Splintercell… I did the research because I thought your question was interesting… however it was sooooo easy to find! Did you even try to research the program?

No. Splintercell has a long history of not googling things that he asks questions about.

Nope, that’s why he has 168 threads.

To be fair, I did read that little link before I posted this question but that link was not explicitly clear whether or not only ILR students or any undergraduate student of any college could get that. I assumed anyone could get it since it didn’t clearly define only ILR students but I was just making sure.
Well now my mind has been settled and thanks to those who answered my question. As far as those who were complaining about me asking obvious questions, you do realize that you just wasted your time? Why didn’t you just ignore my topic if you didn’t like it? After all, it is not like I will adhere to your advice of not asking questions here.

No, you obviously won’t. But out of the niceness of our hearts we will read your threads, in the everlasting hope that one of them will have a genuine question that can’t be answered by more than 10 seconds of searching google.

Very well then. I still don’t think that all my questions are stupid.

Go check your facebook.

All you guys bashing Splintercell are ENORMOUS TOOLS. If you don’t want to read his threads, don’t. Waste your time elsewhere. He’s not forcing you to read his threads, so stop trying to act like you guys are investment bankers with very little time to waste and spare us the b!tching.

Dude, bottom line is, you’re not going to become a Meinig by filling out some application, its pretty selective, I believe 50 kids were selected out of all those accepted in the class of 2011.

Are there any other student scholarships for Cornell students? I remember there being a whole section of the Cornell website dedicated to Student Scholarships, but now I can’t find it.
