the education good here? I always had mixed feelings here since it’s a popular party college and that they didn’t have good education,but I realized maybe the education is good but people just party a lot and don’t focus on theyre studies. Is this true? Also what are there best majors? I heard they’re petroleum engineering program is good as well as theyre other egineering programs and I also heard theyre banking and finance programs are good to. Could anyone verify this?

What are your stats ? GPA (weighted, unweighted ), sat score ? Any sat subjects planned ? Any AP tests taken ? Are you a junior ?
Are you a first generation student (=no one in your family has a four year degree)?
Do you live in a city or in a rural area ? Is your high school 'low performing '?
Are you a WV resident or oOS domestic (=american/greencard holder whose parents don’t live in WV) or international (=will need a visa to attend) ?
What do you want for the University you’d attend ?
What’s your parents ’ budget for college ? Do you know their efc ?
All of these questions matter because the ‘right’ university isn’t the same for one who loves philosophy and one who loves mechanics, for one who wants to work in government and one who wants to develop his business ideas, for the activist and for the musician…
With the answers to the questions above we’ll be able to do better than say 'it is good for some and not for others ’
