is the english section on act similar to that of sat?

is the grammar section on the act similar that of sat?do they just ask the same type of grammar??

They are basically the same. You can look up practice tests online or buy the books to compare them better... the only difference I can think of is that the ACT sometimes asks logic questions i.e. "where should sentence 3 be placed for the sake of logic," to make paragraphs make better sense and such. Other than that the questions are very similar.

I missed 1 on SAT writing, and got 34 on ACT English, which corresponds to 2 or 3 (I think) wrong. The ACT has way more questions though, so I'd say they have about the same difficulty as well as content.

I scored much better on the SAT W. Although the questions are similar, the formats differ by an appreciable amount. The paragraph format of the ACT threw me off a tad. The ACT Eng is less organized in a sense; unlike the SAT questions, the ACT questions are not separated distinctly on the page.
