Is the first offense of cheating in college likely to result in suspension?

<p>My to teacher thinks I cheated on a homework assignment, is this likely to result in suspension? It is the first time I did it.</p>

<p>Plagiarism is not taken lightly at all in college. I’m sorry, but there is a good chance that you’ll get suspended at the least.</p>

<p>Eh it’s not the end of the world if you it admitted as your fault (don’t lie, you’ve been caught and you know it). Sometimes you’ll get suspended, sometimes less, and on rare occasions you get expelled (talking about high school). It will hurt you with colleges a decent amount.</p>
