Will this grant be automatically renewed each year or will I have to fill out the FAFSA every year to qualify for it again?
You have to fill out a fafsa every year. Need based aid…and the Pell is need based aid…requires a new application annually.
Your 2018-2019 fafsa will use 2016 income.
Your EFC would need to be $0 to get the full Pell.
