İs there any advantage of an application without financial aid amongst with financial aid for international applicants in Princeton ?
If you need financial aid, does it do you any good to get admitted without it?
I believe that applying without need offers no advantage whatsoever.
There is no disadvantage for applying for financial aid at Princeton, even if you are an international applicant. The application committee will not see/consider that you have applied for financial aid. They will take a decision without that knowledge. This is what we were told during our visit. Harvard and Yale follow the same rule. In other universities, applying for financial aid brings a disadvantage for international applicants.
