Is the real test...

Hey guyz i had a queston -

i've been doing the practice tests on the blue book for a couple of months - almost finished with them...

what i have found out is that - all posts... the scores are amazing...all the threads...

i've been taking the test and i was wondering if the books ranges were "harsh" in any sense - or is it that all of you (members of cc) are just genius'

example i get four wrong on my math section
...the range it gives me is 620~680 (isn't that a bit harsh?)

i want to know if the book deliberately does that so that when you take the real test...hopefully your scores would be higher?)

thanks in advance

There's a curve on the actual test. I missed 2 math problems when I took it (not sure how i missed 2) and got a 790

considering you got two wrong - 620~680 is kinda harsh for 4 wrong right?

tribal45, I have always found that the book tests are usually trickier than the actual test. So I wouldn't worry if your scores are much lower on the practice tests...on the last practice test I took before the SAT my verbal range was like 620-680 and I ended up with a 750...

thanx - alyssieann
u saved me from fear of failing
