I have a SAT score of 1760 with my CR:640 M:580 W:540 and also a GPA:3:00
i just want to know if its worth applying to USC or is There no hope for me.
I also am in a lot of sports and do lots of volunteering if that helps my chances.

Your stats are kinda low for USC. But I think you should still apply. You don’t want to go through the rest of your senior year wondering “what if”. Plus USC is holistic with their admissions. You never know USC could see something in you that they really like. Good luck (I am in the same position as you btw with the low stats)

Apply for sure just work on a great essay that will set you apart that’s one of the most important things

Can you give us some more information on your extracurricular activities and essays? Because those can play a significant role in the admission process too. If those are good you have a chance because USC looks at everything not only SAT. Btw I’m in the same boat as you I hae low stats but everything else is fairly decent. Good luck!!

Reach, but I thought U Florida was the one school that was extremely irregular.

You might consider U South Carolina (although its acronym is still USC, it’s not at all the same school)

With a 3.0/1780 it’s hard to be optimistic about SouthernCal. If it’s always been a dream then apply so you’ll have a clear answer, but you need to prepare yourself for a disappointing answer.

You’re going to have to play up your app. There is no reason not to apply of course. Let them know how much it means to you, and good luck!!

Yes, your stats are far too low for a solid chance, but stranger things have happened in the world of college admissions. It’s definitely a chance worth taking if it’s your dream school, but you need an incredible essay and outstanding ECs to make it work. There is hope; you just gotta make the best with what you’ve got.

Thank you :)

Big reach dude! What’s ur backup?

long beach state or SDSU

You MIGHT get in, but that would occur by an EXTREME swing of luck.
I’m 99% sure you won’t get accepted.

bummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmp:) need more comments please

I’ve checked college board and it said 5% of people admitted have the same GPA as me and 18% have the same SAT score. Just as long as i have a chance ill do anything to get in :)
