Is there a chance to get in with...

around a 24 on the ACT and a 3.5 GPA?

If that 3.5 GPA is unweighted, then you should have no problem. This is the average for admitted students

A 24 ACT score is the equivalent of 1680-1730 on the new SAT (1120-1150 on the old SAT). Indiana University Bloomington students' average scores are right at this number (1121 on the old scale for 2006 admittees).

The only problem you might have is if the GPA is weighted and you are applying for one of the tougher majors (business or music).

Good luck.

my s got in with a 21 ACT and 3.6 unweighted. Out of state too..which is supposed to be tougher. go for it.

i got in with a 20
