Is there a fence on top bunk bed?

which bunk bed will you pick? the one above the desk or above the bed? The one above the desk would be my preference because I think if you gain enough velocity while rolling off, you’ll end up landing on the bottom bed next to you. If you’re on the bed above the bed, you’ll just end up hitting a desk. hehe.

i love this thread… btw i slept in a bunk bed for most of my elementary school years. Can say I woke up half off the bed at least twice, but i was sure i wouldn’t have fallen off. The only time I did was because I woke up hit my head and tried to jump down but had my leg caught in my blanket.

Landed on my back had the wind knocked out of me but was entirely fine… after 30secs

If you really want a rail, you could check on those ones used when toddlers move from a
crib to a regular bed. The good thing is they fit pretty much any bed and are easily removed if you don’t need it. It does mean you have to get in the bed from either end which is sort of a pain.

LOL. this is indeed a very funny thread.

Don’t worry. Only a few people have died from falling off of the top bunk.

Rails are available in the dorms. If you want a rail, try and find someone who doesn’t or requst one when you’re moving in. When I moved into my Unit 2 triple, we had rails on both the top bunks but my roommates got rid of them right away. Our neighbors across the hall both have rails. It’s really not that big a problem.
