Georgetown was my dream school but my mom insisted that she wanted me to stay close to home so I ended up not applying. Today I got an email stating that Georgetown would still consider me for spring admission if I submitted my supplement by next Monday. I was wondering whether they sent an email like this to anyone who had an incomplete application and if there was a point in still applying. Seeing that I would be submitting my supplement a month after the deadline, I would assume that that would automatically my application a red flag. I guess I just want some confirmation that it would be worth submitting my app at this point.
If Georgetown sent you an email saying that they will consider your application late, they will consider your application late. It would make no sense for the school to make its decision based on application submission date; if it truly is your dream school, it wouldn’t hurt to send in your application. If you do not get in, it will not be because you submitted your supplement a month after the deadline.
It is for spring admission, not fall. But if the net price calculator shows it as affordable, go ahead. It doesn’t mean they will admit you, though.
