So I’ve been looking through different honors societies that exist for high school students. There are the obvious ones like the National Honors Societies and the multiple language societies but I could not find any related with engineering.
Is there a possibility there are none out there? If that is the case, is there a possibility that one can be created?
What would invitation to the society be based on with no demonstrated excellence in engineering?
I’m not aware of the existence of an engineering honors society, but I may be wrong. However, In my school, some teachers have started their own subject honors societies that just exist in the district. Consider founding your own engineering honors society for your school, and maybe even others.
