I just received an acceptance today. The problem is that I am leaving the country tomorrow morning and do not come back until late August. I do not have a permanent address where everything is supposed to be mailed in the US. I asked a friend and she will handle all my mail and forward it to me. She, however, cannot pay the fee , neither can she sign the enrollment agreement for me. If I will give Georgetown the address overseas, do you think they will bother sending all my papers there? Plus, I do not even know what my financial aid is. Is there a way to find this out online? This acceptance is the only cheerful thing I had in at least 4-5 years of my life and I would not want to miss this because I happen to be overseas with one of my sick family members. any suggestions would be helpful.

There is no way to pay the enrollment deposit online. If you do not have a U.S. bank account, you would need to send a cashier’s check (or cheque as they call them in the rest of the Anglosphere) or a traveler’s check. The enrollment agreement form you can fax or even sign, scan, and email to your admissions officer.

With regard to your financial aid award, I would call and/or email the appropriate financial aid counselor: [Georgetown University :: Office of Student Financial Services](http://finaid.georgetown.edu/contact.htm#counselors)
