Is there anyway with statistics to cross reference two different statistics?

What I mean is, I'm looking at the Cornell admissions and it has a lot of information in it. For example, the acceptance rate for CALS was 22%, and the acceptance rate for ED was 34%. Is there anyway to combine these and see if you fit both of these criteria what your chances would be? It might be impossible or you might not have enough information, I haven't taken statistics yet so I'm not sure.

Thanks if you can help me out.

It’s not possible unless you have privy to the data points that made up those percentages.

Would knowing that 1227/3479 were admitted ED and 514/2359 were admitted to CALS be enough? i’m not sure if that’s what you mean by data points or not. Sorry if I’m being stupid, I just haven’t ever been taught any of this.

No problem. No, it’s not possible because you need to know for each applicant, if they were ED/CALS or RD/CALS.
