ED vs RD

I am going to be applying RD to CAS. Anyone have any idea how much of a difference there is in terms of chances for getting into CAS RD vs ED? I know there is a difference, just not exactly how significant it is.

Well 1175 were admitted ED out of 3594 applicants (32.7%) while 5498 were admitted RD out of 32744 applicants (16.8%). Overall, 6673 out of 36338 were admitted (18.4%). CAS admitted 2702 out of 17170 overall (15.7%). So I would think it’s safe to assume the difference is similar, in the low 30’s or high 20’s for ED CAS acceptance.

But then you get into “many strong applicants apply ED” and “if you fit, you’re in” and all those other things that could push it this way or that.
