Is there organic chemistry on the AP chemistry test?

I have been going through some of the old test questions and there seems to be more organic chemistry than my teacher has been preparing us for. She says we generally wont need it, but the questions seem to suggest otherwise. Has there been a change since the early 2000s to less organic chem? How much will I need to know? Thanks!

There’s very little organic on the AP Chemistry exam. You shouldn’t worry too much about it; focus more on the other topics that make up more of the test before looking through organic. As for what to know, a basic knowledge of the types of organic molecules/naming/structures should be enough.
