Would it be worth it to major in MIS, considering my school doesn't offer CIS? I don't want to do programming 24/7 either, so that's why I'm not majoring in CS, but I do want to minor in CS to build a more technical background. I keep hearing about 14.7 unemployment rate. I just want to know if it's worth it. I'm interesting in being an IT consultant or a Systems or Database Administrator. Also, if anyone has a career in any one of those aforementioned fields, could you give me some insight as to what those jobs entails and the pros and cons of each.
