In a double in Court, would there be room for a student to have some kind of "comfy chair" like a butterfly chair?

I don’t think so, but I could be wrong. Comfy chairs for me are located in Weill Hall’s lounge.

Thanks for the reply. I don’t think we saw a room in Court when we visited, but my memory of the doubles we did see was that they were very tight.

Pretty much all doubles are the same size on North Campus (except the Balch doubles, which are bigger), so I think I know the size of a Court double. I’d say no, unless you use bed lifters and slide the desk underneath the bed (which has been done before).

i had a couple of friends in mews doubles (which i would assume are the same size as court doubles) with those butterfly chairs (and didn’t loft their beds). as long as it can folded up and put in a corner i’d say it wouldn’t hurt. it was nice when we all got together to watch a movie/chill

I lived in a double in Court, and I don’t think there is really the space. You could loft your bed which opens up some space. There are lounges at the end of every hallway with large, comfy chairs though.
