Ok so ive been working in a CPA's office (Certified Public Accountant) and doing accounting for him, and this summer i will working for many clients (law firms, construction companies etc.) doing accounting. The work im doing for the most part is about $20/hour work. All of the clients are my fathers clients (a contract accountant), will this diminish the quality of the EC? P.S. I wanna major in math/business (probably apply into the business school at alot of schools)

Bump if you view it will you please at least put some input?

It’'s only an EC as far as a part time job is an EC.

So it holds all the same value as far as colleges are concerned as say working at a fast food restaurant? Even though what im doing is work that college graduates are usually doing?

since i don’t really know what to say about the issue and you want all viewers to comment, im just going to say that im really jealous that you’re making $20/hr when im sitting at home with no job yet for the summer :(

^ Same ^

And I don’t think that it is an EC… it is work experience (according to the Common App)

Well I know it is a work experience, but it seems to me that it is more pertinent to college stuff than most of the ECs that people put
