Is this a good high school schedule?

Hi, so I’m a freshman in high school currently planning her sophomore schedule. I’m planning on applying to schools like NYU or University of Chicago, probably not any Ivy Leagues though. I was wondering if this was an okay schedule–I’ll also add what my freshman schedule was.

Freshman:
AP World History
Honors English 9
Geometry (they didn’t have an honors option, I’m not really sure why)
Honors Biology
Health (it was required to graduate)
Latin I
Introduction to Biomedical Sciences PLTW (most people call it biomed, but it’s a 4 year course…right now I’m deciding on whether or not I want to continue it for the rest of my high school career.)

Sophomore (still available to change):
Honors English 10
Honors Algebra II
AP United States History
Latin II
Honors Chemistry
Child Devlopment
Advanced Health Education: Current Health Issues
Human Body Systems PLTW II (basically biomed II)

Junior:
AP English Literature and Composition
AP Psychology
AP Chemistry
Latin III
Honors Advanced Modeling with Analysis and Trigonometry
Medical Interventions PLTW III (biomed III)
Fiber arts (2 art credits are required to graduate)
I was also planning on taking a study hall, to lighten my load during my junior year as this is when I’ll be taking my SAT and ACT… Should I take something else like Anatomy and Physiology or Advanced Genetics?

Senior:
AP English Language and Composition
AP US Government
AP Macro Economics
AP Biology
Latin IV
Honors Precalculus with Finite Math
Biomedical Innovation PLTW IV (biomed iv)
Ceramics

…So basically I’m wondering if I should drop Biomed so I can take Anatomy and Physiology, Advanced Genetics, and Advanced Microbiology, or possibly even study halls. My father would like if I took AP Physics, though I’d have to drop biomed to fit it into my schedule. Do you guys have any advice?

NO NO NO!!! Don’t take a study hall. Take trig plus pre cal in junior so you can take bc cal in senior. Don’t take so many vocational/elective courses like Child Development and Ceramics. If you need art credits than take AP art history if it counts as fine arts(does in my school) take biomedical innovation if it’s revelant to your major and you enjoy it.

I’d have to take 2 art classes, as one art class is only one semester and worth one credit. Sadly, my school doesn’t offer AP Art History…So should I not take Child Devlopment and instead take like Advanced Genetics??

Yes and take pre cal during the study hall in your junior year and instead of the current health issues class during your sophomore year, take art then.
