Is this a good high school schedule?

My school doesn’t offer any honors classes and isn’t very competitive.
I got all A’s freshman year and sophomore year so far.
Is it worth taking concert band both junior and senior year or should I replace it with AP Chemistry or Physics in junior year? (I’ve played the flute and took lessons)
Is there any way I should change my schedule?
I’m aiming for a UC College and want to major in genetics/biology.

Don’t take AP Calc AB and BC in one same year. I’m not even sure if your school lets you take the two in the same year because the only difference between AB and BC is that BC covers all the AB covers but it just covers two or three more units than AB. Switch one of them with AP Stat if you really love math.

Also, I don’t think you can learn Microeconomics only in one year because micro and maco econ each has small matetials, so they go together; they are just taught in two different semesters.

Also, AP Lit and AP Lang are two different courses. AP Lit is a 12th grade course while AP Lang is an 11th grade course. You can’t take both of them in one same year, too.

@HardOREasy AP Gov and AP Microecon are usually taken in a sequence at some schools.

@HardOREasy AB and BC could be a 1st and 2nd semester sequence at his school too

@snowfairy137 Hmm… That should be interesting, but doesn’t that mean that the curriculum of AB is packed into just one semester and that of BC is learnt at a very slow pace in second semester? Well, I am not a math expert, and I may be wrong, but if that is the case, then I really would just take one of the two.

It might be broken up as calc I and II, like at your average semester-schedule university @HardOREasy
That would make the class like taking BC for a year at some other schools

AP Government and AP Microeconomics are taken together for half the year each at my school. Also AP Calc AB and BC have to be taken together (I was told AB lasts until about January or February and BC for the rest of the year)

Definitely take physics if you haven’t yet. If you enjoy concert band, continue with it.

You can take regular English like previous years, if you don’t want to take AP.

You look like you have a good plan, but are you sure you want to take both AP English classes as a senior if you’re not good at English? I would recommend either splitting them up or only taking one. At my school, the AP Lang kids write at least one essay every week. Good luck!
