(First, sorry if its the wrong forum for this question)

I'm currently a freshman. At my HS, the hardest science courses goes from bio (h) -> chem (h) -> bio AP -> chem AP. Our school doesn't offer Physics AP but we have Honors. I'm currently taking Bio Honors and would normally take Chemistry Honors next year. But I have an opportunity to take Chem over the summer at a CC and take Bio AP next year. Would it be worth it for me to use up my summer for this? My classes would go bio(H) -> bio ap -> chem ap -> physics honors(?).

If you plan to major in any of the sciences or engineering at college, it would really be helpful to have the physics, as well as the bioH/bioAP/chemAP. So unless there is some other fabulous summer opportunity, the CC chem sounds like a good idea.

Have you double checked with your counselor that it fulfills the pre-req for your H.S. chem AP?

Yes, you would have a foundation in physics before you have to take the required college physics. Bio and premed both require college level physics.
