Is this a good junior year schedule?

I didn't qualify for any AP's next year because my Freshman scores were low (my school requires you to have a 90 in an H1 class in order to take AP). My school offers four levels, College Prep, College Prep 1, Honors, and Honors 1, with Honors 1 being the highest. Do you think this is a good junior year schedule, if I want to get into Northeastern?

English III- Honors 1
Creative Writing- Honors (only level offered)
Microbiology- Honors 1
Anatomy and Physiology- Honors 1
Pre-Calculus- Honors (I'm bad at math)
French III-Honors 1
US History II- Honors 1

I like your schedule. I wish my school offered Microbiology and Anatomy and Physiology. Well, my school does have Sports Medicine which is like Anatomy and Physiology. Anyway, taking Pre-Calculus as a Junior doesn’t mean you’re bad at math, I know a lot of people who do it. Maybe you can take some AP’s Senior year. You’re fine.

bump…

you might want to take atleast 3-4 ap classes your junior year…are they only reccomendations from your teachers or you have to stick with honors level classes?

They won’t let you take them unless you had a 90 in your freshman year courses (which is bull, because as a freshman who thinks of AP’s?). I’m self-studying Bio, and I’m going to self-study Psych.

well…self studying bio will be hard but psych would be a joke

Yeah, Bio’s going to be a killer, so I’m starting this summer. I’ve already ordered the Campbell Book and the Cliffnotes, and I’m aiming for a five. I’ll probably quality for Psych by senior year, so I might do AP World History on my own instead.

Self studying AP exams is ridiculously pointless unless your school does not offer any AP to anybody under any circumstance.

I don’t see how it’s absolutely pointless if I do it on my own and get a four or a five
